We currently have a large number of schools throughout Brazil, this large amount makes parents get lost when choosing which school to enroll their children.
What are the criteria that must be evaluated when choosing?
1st - Parents must make a list of schools.
2º - Within this list, parents must discard schools that do not agree with their values (conservative or liberal).
3rd - Parents must visit the school and question its pedagogical proposal.
4th - During the visit to the school, parents should pay attention to the service, the parking, especially at the entrance and exit, as these usually cause problems.
5th - Observe if the school is current, or if it continues with the old teaching methods, if it prepares the student only for life or if it also prepares him for the job market.
6th - Parents should pay attention to whether the school encourages solidarity, respect, ethics, among other concepts that make human beings with an honorable character.
7th - Check if the school offers a good physical space, having a secure structure that provides leisure areas for the student.
8th - Pay attention to the qualification of the professionals who work there.
9th - Find out how students' tardiness are treated, how the school behaves in the face of controversial issues.
10th - Analyze the resources that the school makes available to its students.
If your child is a teenager, you should sit down and hear their opinion of the candidate schools. When entering into a consensus with the children, it is time to enroll.
At the time of choice, it is important that parents ask ample questions about several guidelines.
The school is a space for children's learning, but remember that education starts at home, that is, it is the parents who initiate and participate in their children's education.
