NASA's Webb Telescope Brings a Spooky View of the "Pillars of Creation"

The Pillars of Creation areconsidered by many to be one of the wonders of the world spatial. These are species of tentacles formed by gas and dust, which form the shapes of fingers and shape the stars.

Last Wednesday, the 30th, NASA, together with the European Space Agency, released images that bring a new look at the pillars, made by the incredible space telescope James Webb. An amazing record!

The Pillars of Creation are a small part of the so-called Eagle Nebula. Its prominence was reached due to the images made by the Hubble Space Telescope, in the year 1995. While the vision at that time was excellent, Webb's resources made for an incredible and frightening vision.

This is a part of a James Webb Space Telescope composite view of the Pillars of Creation.

Due to infrared wave instruments, it is possible to see the different points and lengths. First, the team used the NIRCam infrared camera, then performed captures with another mid-infrared equipment, and soon after joined the two and released the results.

If we separate the work of each of the devices, we can say that the NIRCam brought greater prominence to the newly formed stars, which are outside the pillars. MIRI covers the V-shaped dust layer near the top of the image obtained.

"This is one of the reasons the region is teeming with stars – dust is one of the main ingredients of star formation," NASA said.

Going deeper into the studies, the fingertip in red, which is glowing on the second pillar, indicates an embedded star formation and, according to the agency, these stars are considered new, because they are a few hundred thousand years old, with millions of years still needed by the front.

With these images, the James Webb Space Telescope is considered the new highlight among the equipment from NASA, even though it is still seen as a kind of complement to Hubble, and not exactly a substitute.

In this way, the visions of the Pillars of Creation, before iconic and somewhat rare, are now several, and each one special within its purposes. It is estimated that the images captured by Webb will be released more frequently by the company americana and that new places in space should be explored through this new resource in the years that are for coming.
