ATTENTION! Edict of Encceja 2023 was released today!

O Encceja, created in 2002, aims to assess competences, skills and knowledge of young people and adults who did not complete primary or secondary education within the allotted time.

This Wednesday, March 15, the Official Gazette (DOU) released Notice No. 19 of March 13, 2023 from the National Institute of Studies and Research Educativos Anísio Teixeira (Inep), establishing guidelines, procedures and deadlines for the National Examination for the Certification of Youth and Adult Skills (Encceja) 2023. The examination for certification of primary and secondary education will take place on August 27 in all states and in the Federal District.

From April 3 to 14, those who did not attend Encceja 2022 will be able to provide justifications for their absence. Justification is mandatory for registrants who did not take the exam in 2022 and wish to register for the 2023 edition for free. If they do not justify or have their justification denied, the participant must reimburse Inep in BRL 40 through a slip generated in the registration system, payable at any bank or lottery.

Registration for the exam will take place from May 22nd to June 2nd, during which time specialized assistance must also be requested. The exam is voluntary, free and intended for young people and adults who have not completed primary or secondary education in the adequate age, with a minimum age of 15 years for elementary school and 18 years for high school on the date of exam.

Justification for absence from Encceja 2022:

  • Justification for absence: April 3 to 14;
  • Result: April 24th;
  • Feature: April 24-28;
  • Appeal result: May 2;

Registration Encceja 2023: May 22nd to June 2nd;

Specialized service and Treatment by social name:

  • Application: May 22nd to June 2nd;
  • Result: June 12th;
  • Feature: June 12-16;
  • Appeal Result: June 19;

Application Encceja 2023: Middle and high school: August 27th.

The application of Encceja Nacional 2023 will follow the schedules:

Morning

  • Gates open: 8 am
  • Gates close: 8:45 am
  • Start of exams: 9 am
  • End of exams: 1pm

Afternoon

  • Gates open: 2:30 pm
  • Gates close: 3:15 pm
  • Start of exams: 3:30 pm
  • End of exams: 20:30
