Follow the recipe and assemble a passion fruit oven cocada
Now check out the ingredients and method of preparation of this cocada:
Ingredients
- 1 can or box of condensed milk 395g;
- 2 tablespoons of butter;
- 2 eggs (attention, we will only use the yolks);
- 2 cups passion fruit pulp (preferably fresh)
- 2 cups of grated fresh coconut tea;
- 1 glass of coconut milk.
Step by step
- Pay attention to the details
To ensure that you don't get confused or get the ingredients wrong, the ideal is to separate them all into small bowls, so that you can add them to the recipe in a controlled manner. Therefore, the first step is to squeeze the passion fruit, removing the seeds, and place 1 cup of passion fruit pulp in a bowl. Then separate 2 egg yolks into another bowl and set aside. Do the same with the two spoons of butter and the 2 cups of grated fresh coconut tea. Remember: always leave them all in separate bowls.
- Start this delicious preparation
Add the condensed milk can, the butter, the coconut milk and the 2 egg yolks to the blender. Whisk all these ingredients together until visually smooth. Turn on the oven at 180ºC and let it preheat for 10 minutes.
- finish the assembly
After homogenizing the ingredients in the blender, transfer to a glass or aluminum refractory greased with butter. As this recipe will still go into the oven, make sure that the container can be subjected to temperatures of approximately 180ºC. Then, mix the grated coconut and the pulp with the passion fruit seeds with the paste just out of the blender.
- Get ready to bake
The ingredients are all ready so voila! Light to bake in medium oven, already preheated. The point can be obtained in about 30 minutes or so, when the edges are golden and hard and the center of the cocada is soft. If you wish, you can do the knife test: stick a knife in the center of the coconut and, if it comes out clean, it's time to remove it from the oven. Serve the recipe hot or warm, according to your preference. Great dessert!
