The forgotten PIS/Pasep quotas correspond to the existing amounts corresponding to an old Fund, which was used before the FGTS. Therefore, the values, which total more than R$ 23 million, belong to those who worked with a formal contract in the period between 1971 and 1988. So, keep reading and find out how to check if you have forgotten PIS/Pasep.

Forgotten PIS/Pasep quotas – What do you need to know?
The money will be available for withdrawal until June 1, 2025. However, if the withdrawal is not made, the resource will return to the Union's coffers. In addition, if the beneficiary has already died, his heirs can withdraw the amount.
How to withdraw?
You can check if you are entitled to the money, as well as withdraw the amount, through the FGTS application or through My INSS. Both are available for Android and iOS.
For Caixa customers, deposits are made automatically, but non-account holders you need to go to a bank branch and present an official document with a photo to be able to withdraw the benefit.
In addition, Citizen Card users have the option of making withdrawals through self-service terminals and lottery outlets, but the amount cannot exceed R$3,000.
Fund Values are unrelated to the PIS/Pasep salary bonus
It should be noted that this fund has nothing to do with the PIS/Pasep salary bonus, given that it comes from employers' deposits at the time, being proportional to the length of service and the salary of the workers in the period, similarly to what happens with the FGTS, which remained in its place posteriorly.
Withdrawals from this Fund only started to be made in 2019. Prior to that, withdrawals from the PIS/Pasep Fund could only be made if the worker was over 60 years old, received a pension or was in specific situations, such as in the case of people with the HIV virus, or even if the request came from an heir or dependent of a holder already deceased.
