That the country's economic situation is difficult for Brazilians is nothing new. Thus, those who manage to leave basic accounts and invest in streaming entertainment are no longer so interested in continuing with their signatures for much longer. The cost to consume three streaming services is around BRL 63.70, to access the basic plans of the following platforms: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Globoplay. Before the price adjustments, consuming these services cost R$54.70, a difference to be felt by subscribers when paying. Thus, with the increase in values, the survey indicated that 38% of respondents canceled some of their subscriptions in the first half of the year.

Following the results, 43% had as their main reason the increase in the value of subscriptions, while 20% choose to cancel for not making use, demonstrating only one account without goal. In the same sense of disinterest, 19% say that the offered content does not interest them, leading directly to the cancellation. Finally, 9.9% claim to have found another way to consume content, followed by 6.8% who will share the subscription fee with other people.

This data demonstrates how the impact on subscription prices affects many sides of the situation. With the withdrawal of subscriptions, companies start a movement to keep their subscribers, which is not it is unclear whether it has actually resulted, after all some of the methods discussed motivate even more the cancellation of services. As a result of the survey, which collected data from 1,058 people in order to analyze the use of streaming platforms in Brazil, the average interest in unsubscribing was 7 out of 10 people, with 72% of respondents saying they intend to cut streaming spending from basic accounts.
