This soufflé takes about 1 hour and 25 minutes to make. The recipe requires a few steps, but is easy to prepare and makes four servings. In addition, you will need a blender, a mixer and an oven. Finally, check out the list of ingredients and step by step:

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • ½ kg cooked and squeezed cassava
  • 4 yolks, sifted and beaten
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 box of cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon of green smell
  • 1 teaspoon(s) nutmeg

Method of preparation

  1. First, take a pan to the low fire and put the butter to melt. Then add the onion and sauté until golden;
  2. Put the mandioquinha right after and wait to cook a little;
  3. Subsequently, place the mixture in a blender, and also add the egg yolks, salt, nutmeg, cream and parmesan cheese. Done that, beat until you get a homogeneous look. Reserve;
  4. Take a mixer and beat the egg whites until they reach the snow point. Next, mix them carefully in the cassava cream;
  5. After that, add the green smell and place the dough in a greased shape with a little butter, leaving at least 1 finger of free edge;
  6. Sprinkle on the grated Parmesan and then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes, until the dough rises, browns and becomes firm (do the toothpick test to see if the dough has already baked the enough);
  7. Serve immediately so that the preparation does not wither.
