The history of donuts
The famous donuts came from the word “doughnut”, which means fried thread in Portuguese. It is said that they were born in the 16th century, created by Dutch bakers, and with colonization, they were taken to North America.
There is another version that says that Hanson Gregory would have invented these donuts in the year 1847. In this story, Gregory taught his mother how to make a hole in the middle of a “dough”, and the recipe was born.
It is not known which story is true. However, it is common knowledge that donuts are very tasty and make children's minds with their sweet taste.

How to do it at home?
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 40 g of oat flour
- 10 g of coconut or almond flour
- 60 g Greek yogurt
- 15 g of sweetener
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 5 g of olive oil
- lemon/orange zest
- Chocolate chips
- Milk
Way of doing:
In a bowl, mix all liquid ingredients. Then add flour and sweetener. Stir until you get a consistency of dough, place in the silicone molds with the shape of a donut and take it to the microwave oven for two minutes. This recipe is enough to prepare three donuts. If you want more, just double the ingredients.
