The program will simplify the service and access to credit for any individual who performs his own gainful activity, whether in urban or rural areas, individually and collectively, and also for registered MEIs, including entrepreneurs small.
The incentive covers individual micro-entrepreneurs with annual revenues of up to R$81,000 and small micro-entrepreneurs with annual revenues of up to R$360,000. The provisional measure also includes medium-sized businessmen who have annual revenues of at least R$360,000 and a maximum of R$4.8 million.
In addition to credit lines, the MP wants to formalize and encourage self-employed workers to register with the social security institution. Loans may be up to R$4,500 for micro-entrepreneurs and up to R$1,500 for individuals. Financing will be promoted by public and private financial institutions with an interest rate. The CMN (National Monetary Council) authorized the operations and granted interested parties a period of 24 months to complete the settlement.
To ensure the safety of all parties involved in these credit operations, the MP proposes releasing the interested party's FGTS as loan guarantee. The text also changed the Fund's payment date to the 20th, in an attempt to unify payments. Individual micro-entrepreneurs also have a guarantee through the FGM.
