Cities famous for having no inhabitants

Check out the places that are currently uninhabited:

Kayakoy (Türkiye): It was inhabited in the 18th century by Greeks and Turks. It has been abandoned since 1920, after the end of the war.

Centralia (USA): The Pennsylvania town was founded in 1875 and is currently empty. That's because a company, with the intention of burning garbage, set fire to a landfill that had a coal mine. The location was the setting for the game Silent Hill.

Varosha (Cyprus):

Located in a modern region and inhabited until before 1974, the city was left without residents after the Turkish invasion.

Pyramiden (Norway): It was founded during the Soviet Union and had its end decreed after the extinction of the socialist state.

Hashima Island (Japan): During the years 1887 and 1974, the city located in Nagasaki Prefecture was a coal extraction base for the military. With the arrival of oil, it ended up being deactivated.

Kolmanskop (Namibia): Its founders had a single objective: the extraction of diamonds. With the end of the deposits, it was abandoned and was surrounded by sand.
