First of all, it is important to understand that this is an optional modality, so it is only applied to workers who chose not to remain in the Withdrawal-Rescission, which is the default. Still, it's important to differentiate between the two types of serve.
The Withdrawal-Termination is applied when the worker is fired without just cause and is entitled to withdraw the total withdrawal from his FGTS account, even with the termination fine included. The Birthday Withdrawal is optional and is only available in the month of the worker's birthday. Therefore, if he is dismissed, he will only be able to withdraw the amount of his termination fine and not the total balance in his account.
New withdrawal date
Basically, as it occurs in the month of the worker's birthday, the release now includes only those born in August, and starts counting from the first working day of the month until the end of the second month Following. In this way, those born in August will be able to withdraw the amounts until october 28th. This amount is relative and depends on what is available in active and inactive accounts, but it has a fixed portion between 5% and 50%, reaching a ceiling of BRL 2,900 per individual.
How to join the modality?
The process to join Saque-Aniversário is very simple and can be done online, through the FGTS website or application. However, in order for the redemption to be carried out in the same year, this registration must be completed by the last business day of the month of your birthday.
