Japanese company imposes time restriction and reaps benefits
Many people were worried if their devices were infected with some kind of virus. Therefore, some users decided to test the device in malware protection mode and it still wrote random words. With that, the problem with the K100 keyboard was identified - In reality, what many thought was a malware, it was just a typing software issue.
The company has commented that the device does not have keylogging and that it does not actively monitor what users type on them. The model's big problem was the macro recording function, which caused it to be activated by mistake and then record keystrokes and mouse movements. The true cause of the K100 keyboard bug has not yet been identified, however, the company continues to analyze the situation and the devices with problems.
Users still have no answers, no solution
Unfortunately, a new firmware update failed to fix the issue. After the company updated its devices, customers are complaining of random freezing on some keys – which could be linked to the high polling rate setting.
Therefore, the only method to solve the problem so far is to disconnect the keyboard and reset it by resetting it. To reset it, just keep the “Esc” key pressed for 5 seconds while connecting it. After that, the keyboard should work properly again, even if temporarily.
