New Central Bank website
The website was launched in January and allows citizens and companies to check whether they have any money to be received from banks and other entities in the financial system. In this sense, consultations can be carried out from next Monday (14), through the address https://valoresareceber.bcb.gov.br/.
In January, there was a high demand for access to the SVR and, consequently, the Central Bank website went offline. For this reason, in order to maintain the security of the BC's own website, a new platform was created after the incident.
Pay attention to security when accessing the Values Receivable System
The Central Bank warns users about the risk of malicious people applying scams. Therefore, it is important to point out that the system query service will not be carried out on any other website.
In addition, there will be no telephone contact or sending links to customers via SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram or email, in order to confirm personal data, deal with values or things of that kind. Therefore, pay close attention and do not give loopholes to possible scammers.
Banks and other financial institutions will only be able to contact customers who have amounts to be received after the person has accessed the system, and only if the customer has requested redemption of the amount without indicating a Pix key. However, the institution cannot demand personal data or passwords from the citizen.
When can I move the amounts I have to receive?
Anyone who has amounts to be received at the time of consultation can confirm the amount they will receive. In addition, it will also be possible to request your transfer, from March 7 onwards, all of this on the new website.
If the customer does not redeem the amount on the indicated date, he will not lose the right to receive the amounts on his behalf. Therefore, institutions should keep the money until the citizen decides to request its return.
