Transfer of salary allowance PIS/PASEP referring to the years 2022 and 2023 is about to be released. The Social Integration Program (PIS) and the Civil Servant Asset Formation Program (PASEP) were a contribution fund of a tax nature extinguished on 07/04/2020, through the Provisional Measure 946/2020.

The transfers were paid by legal entities in order to finance and enable the participation of employees private and public sectors in the country's economic relations, with the intention of standardizing the distribution of capital national. However, with the extinction of the Fund, only the PIS/PASEP salary bonus was maintained.
According to the Ministry of Labor, the salary bonus is a benefit paid annually, which works as a “14th minimum wage”, with the aim of supplementing the income of workers who contributed to the programs PIS/PASEP.

BASE YEAR 2020
Workers who met the following requirements received the PIS 2022 wage bonus:
- Be registered with PIS/Pasep for at least five years;
- Have performed paid activity for a minimum period of 30 days, in the year 2020;
- Have received monthly income of up to two minimum wages in 2020;
- Have a recent update in the data register.
BASE YEAR 2021
Workers who meet the following requirements will receive the PIS 2023 wage bonus:
- Be registered with PIS/Pasep for at least five years;
- Have performed paid activity for a minimum period of 30 days, in the year 2021;
- Have received monthly income of up to two minimum wages in 2021;
- Have a recent update in the data register.
PIS/PASEP WAGE ALLOWANCE 2022/2023: HOW TO WITHDRAW?
For PIS beneficiaries, the withdrawal of the 2022 salary allowance can be made with the Citizen Card and a identification through lottery houses, ATMs, account holders and Caixa Econômica branches Federal.
For PASEP beneficiaries, the withdrawal of the 2022 salary allowance can be done with an identification document at Banco do Brasil branches.
The PIS 2023 wage bonus (base year 2021) is not yet available, but payment is expected to occur in a similar manner.
