This modality was created to recognize the differentiated working conditions of teachers and ensure that they can retire earlier and with more compatible benefits than others workers. Thus, for these professionals, it is not necessary to meet the minimum age in some cases. However, the scenario has changed and the rule is no longer the same. Check out!

Japanese company imposes time restriction and reaps benefits
Before the Social Security Reform, female public school teachers could retire at the age of 52 and with 25 years of contribution. In the case of teachers, they should be 55 years old and have been in the profession for 30 years. In both cases, ten years of profession should be in the public network and another five in the function in which they retired.
Teachers who would fit into this situation until 11/12/2019, date of the Social Security Reform, remain with this rule. As for the others, a teacher must be 57 years old to retire through the private education network, while teachers must be 60 years old.
Regarding the time of exercise of the profession, both must have 25 years of experience.
Regarding public school teachers, both the minimum age for retirement and the length of time in the profession are the same as for private school teachers. However, public network professionals need to have ten years of public service and 5 years in the function in which the benefit was granted.
Transition rules for teachers
These three transition rules are valid for teachers who already contributed before the Social Security Reform, but who met the requirements in time to have their retirement released.
Progressive age rule
Valid only for teachers in the private education network, women must be 53 years old and have worked as a teacher for 25 years to retire. For men, the minimum age is 58 years and more than 30 years of experience as a teacher.
100% toll rule
Here the professionals must comply with a 100% toll. Thus, in the case of women, it is expected to be 52 years old, while men must be 55 years old.
However, in both cases, professionals must contribute with the toll of 100% on the time left to retire before the reform.
points rule
Here women must total 85 points, with 25 years of contribution. Men must have 95 points, with 30 years of contribution.
