Ingredients
The ingredient list in the amounts below will yield up to 10 servings and can be made in a medium-sized aluminum foil mold. However, you can always make more or less quantities, as long as you respect the proper proportions:
- 1 can or box of condensed milk;
- 3 eggs;
- 100 grams of grated coconut (or in flakes);
- 1 tablespoon (soup) margarine;
- 1 can or box of cream milk;
- 1 tablet (200 g) of bitter or semi-sweet chocolate;
- 6 spoons (soup) full of sugar.
Method of preparation
Now that you've separated the ingredients, pay attention to the step by step to get the desired result. First, take a pan to mix the condensed milk with the egg yolks, the grated coconut and the margarine. Then cook them over medium heat, stirring constantly, until they reach a soft consistency. Afterwards, just pour it into a refractory greased with plenty of margarine or butter and set aside for a moment.
Now, you will have to carry out the processes for the topping, which in a way is optional, as you can make the cocada just with the above mixture in a medium oven for 10 minutes. However, if you want to increase the recipe, take the cream to the microwave at high power for 2 minutes and pour it into the chopped chocolate bar. Or, melt the chocolate with the cream in a bain-marie. Only then should you pour this mixture over the cocada.
Then beat the egg whites, add sugar and beat for a few minutes until the mixture reaches the sigh point. Then, finish the recipe by making the last layer with the sigh over the coconut and take it to the oven for 10 minutes in medium oven.
