In a video that was recorded and published on TikTok by travel agent Gabriela de Brito Silva, 26, in just over 24 hours, it has already accumulated 11.3 million views on the social network.

In the images from the video made by Gabriela, it is possible to see an anaconda crawling slowly across a lawn next to a lake.
Some residents even passed close to the animal, which did not seem to be very bothered by the presence of humans around it. In another recording, the anaconda enters the lake and soon disappears.
Is it common to see the animal around the place?
According to local residents, the appearance of the animal is not uncommon and there is no record of any incident with the anaconda.
According to Gabriela de Brito Silva, the travel agent who recorded the video:
“The anaconda was calm, it didn't show any different movement the whole time. It's not the first time she's been seen here. There are videos since the 7th of February of an anaconda here in the neighborhood. It is a neighborhood surrounded by a reserve and has lakes. I felt very lucky to be able to see an animal of that size and free to roam.”
Gabriela talks about the comments in the video, which show people refusing to visit Bonito for fear of the anaconda, and explained that there are no cases of animals attacking tourists in the region.
Gabriela says the following about the comments:
“It is an ecotourism destination, we are subject to seeing many wild animals, but there is no record of attacks. The tours are all accompanied by tour guides and there is no exposure to any danger.”
Biologist gets emotional with the anaconda video
Biologist Henrique, in a video published on his YouTube channel, “O Biologista das Cobras”, commented on the anaconda video and said: “It proves that it is possible to live in harmony with nature”. Thrilled, the biologist celebrated that people close to the anaconda did not try to kill it.
“I was impressed with this video, I even got goosebumps. Damn. It's nice to see. It's hard to see an anaconda of this size because people go there and kill it. They see a possum and drive over it with the car. They see a frog and throw salt. It doesn't work like that. You have to live with nature.”
