A study recently published by the journal Nature Sustainability tries to answer a question quite common to all, regardless of origin, language, age, sex, etc., which would be: “how much money is needed to satisfy all my needs? wishes?".
About 220 people were interviewed, in more than 30 countries, and gave their answer about what would be the amount of wealth needed to be able to live their ideal lifestyle. Based on the numbers, participants would have to choose the prize they wanted to win in the lottery between a minimum of $10,000 and a maximum of $100 billion.

It is possible to imagine that the majority of the interviewed participants would opt for the net worth of US$ 100 billion, however, the study showed that, in general, many do not think that way. Most participants ended up opting for more moderate prizes, of US$ 1 million or US$ 10 million, while a minority opted for the maximum amount.
The researchers reported that wealth ideals were not directly linked to differences in the economic development of the respective countries to which they were assigned. belonged to the respondents, but that those who opted for values closer to US$ 100 billion tended to be a younger audience, living in big cities and value power, success and independence, commonly living in countries where the collective focus is greater and there is more acceptance of differences in power.
Thus, as pointed out by the study, for a man of about 38 years old, with a life expectancy of 78 years, US$1 million equals US$25,000 per year, which is less than the average income in many countries Westerners.
And for you, what would be the price of your ideal reality?
