free financial services
The evolution of financial services aims to offer convenience to people, in particular to reduce trips to banks and even facilitate the moment of purchases. Aware of this reality, the Federal Government created the Auxílio Brasil card, with a debit function, to provide convenience, initially, to more than 6 million beneficiaries of the program.
According to the Ministry of Citizenship, the measure should be implemented gradually to be able to assess the success of the measure. The card is up-to-date and more modern and has a chip for debit purchases.
Other benefits of the Auxílio Brasil card
The measure aims to help beneficiaries to maintain a more adequate control of expenses, in addition to providing security to the user. That's because chips on the card reduce the chance of device cloning.
With the arrival of the card, families can access financial services for free, such as unlimited transfers through PIX and bank withdrawals without charging a service fee. Below, see other free services for beneficiaries of the Auxílio Brasil card:
- 24-hour bank withdrawals, limited to 2 per month;
- Unlimited receipts and transfers via PIX;
- Transfers to other bank accounts, limited to three per month;
- Withdrawals at self-service terminals, lottery units and/or bank correspondents, limited to two per month;
- Unlimited transfers between Caixa Econômica Federal accounts.
To access these and other benefits, users registered with Auxílio Brasil must keep their data updated in the Cadastro Único to receive the card at home.
It is not necessary to request the card to be sent, the Ministry of Citizenship will send it automatically. Once received, the user must register the card password through the Caixa Tem app or at Caixa branches and lottery outlets.
