More than 13 million people were victims of this cyber attack and had several data leaked - CPF, address, passwords and other information.
This attack took place in the year 2020, however, this information was only shared with the public on December 23, 2022. The police were called and claimed they would notify the individuals targeted by the attack via email.
In addition, the police stressed that it would be important for all users to change their passwords and put more secure options.
It is believed that the criminals' idea is to use the stolen resources to apply scams impersonating a certain person, such as cloning the Whatsapp (requesting transfers to your close contacts), create an account and apply for a credit card, open a company, withdraw the amount belonging to FGTS accounts, among others.

- Make sure you don't have a phone number in your name.
- Stay tuned for new attempts, after all, your passwords were leaked.
- Change all your passwords, creating more secure options.
