An Apple spokesman said it would review the French court's ruling, adding that it believes in "vibrant and competitive markets where innovation can flourish."

The Digital Markets Law brings a list of what can and cannot be done, which must be complied with by companies. For example, larger platforms are prohibited from listing their own products or services more favorably than those of third parties.
