Author of 11 romance books and much loved in the independent romance reader community, Susan Meachen has received dozens of criticisms regarding her alleged suicide. The death was reportedly announced by her daughter in 2020, who received many thoughts and prayers in her alleged grief.

Susan Meachen even published 10 of her books before her supposed death, the last one was released after, by her daughter, who claimed to have rewritten and published it. stating that her mother wanted the publication before her marriage, which consequently made many people aware and made the purchase of the book.

As if that were not enough, Susan's daughter took advantage of her mother's supposed death for all this time, after all she always appeared asking fans to buy the books with the excuse that she would donate the money collected to institutions for the prevention of suicide.

Susan Meachen never died

The plot twist happened when Susan Meachen made a publication in a closed group of writers of her Facebook:

“I've debated how to do this a million times and I'm still not sure if it's right or not. There will be tons of questions and a lot of people leaving the group I think. But my family did what they thought was best for me and I can't blame them for that. I almost died again by my own hand and they had to go through all that hell again. Going back to The Ward doesn't mean much, but I'm in a good place now, and I look forward to writing again. Let the fun begin.”

And so, everyone discovered that Susan, in addition to being alive, was still publishing books under the pseudonym TN Steele during all that time. All this caused a lot of revolt in the fans and writers of the community, who are not willing to forgive her.
