The research was done by the company JD Power, which deals with data analysis. In this way, over 8,000 people were interviewed in the United States between 2016 and 2022. The conclusion of the survey was that electric car owners are fully covered by this type of car.
The study showed that the majority of car users that rely only on electric motors do not think about going back to using traditional models. Regarding the reasons that made the interviewees become so attached to electric cars, some reasons include the driving pleasure, style and efficient service provided by these vehicles.
What about the autonomy of electric cars?
Autonomy is a critical point when talking about electric cars. Therefore, users often search a lot for models that can meet their needs more satisfactorily. However, the interviewees stated that it is all a matter of adaptation and that they are satisfied.
What are the models that most please users?
According to Green Car Reports, the electric cars that have the highest level of customer satisfaction in general are the Tesla's premium models, mainly due to equipment packages, such as those aimed at the entertainment.
On the other hand, brands such as Ford and Kia stand out for aspects such as mechanical reliability, given that several cases have already been reported. of defective Tesla cars, particularly semi-autonomous driving systems, which makes users consider switching to other brands.
Models like Tesla Model 3 (which got the highest score in the survey), Tesla Model Y, Mustang Mach-E, Audi e-Tron, Kia Niro EV, Chevrolet Bolt, among others, were among the vehicles evaluated in the study.
Anyway, electric cars seem to be here to stay and are conquering more and more users around the world. Consequently, the trend for the future is towards more economical and sustainable vehicles.
