According to the new rule, Brazilians who intend to go to Portugal no longer need to contact the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF). However, nothing was detailed.

“Everything leads us to believe that it will be a faster process for CPLP citizens. So far, we still don't have information on a specific platform for new orders in this new modality”, points out Anna Luiza Pereira, a lawyer specializing in the matter. What will change is still an open question.

What is expected is that everything is defined in the best and fastest way possible, so that it is clear to all the people involved in the process.
