How to make a withdrawal request?
Before making the withdrawal, it is worth checking the status of your allowance through the “Carteira de Trabalho Digital” application. In this way, you can consult the amount referring to the allowance and whether it is actually available for withdrawal. Then, choose how you want to make the request, whether in person or remotely.
In the first case, you need to go to one of the units of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. In this way, the Ministry may forward the amount to Caixa Econômica Federal, in cases of PIS, or Banco do Brasil, in the case of Pasep. It is also possible to make the request remotely, by calling 148 or by e-mail [email protected]. What value do I receive from PIS/Pasep?
The value will also depend on the number of months you worked with a formal contract in the respective base year.
