The deadline for registration in the Social Habilitation program was extended by the Department of Transit of the Federal District (Detran-DF). The extension of registrations to be part of the Social Habilitation program aims to give more opportunities to those who wish to participate in the application processes, with the possibility of being considered later in the qualification process. 24,752 applications have been registered so far.
The Detran will make 5,000 vacancies available to low-income people registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) and who have resided in the DF for at least two years. The candidate must also not have been legally prevented from obtaining the National Driver's License (CNH) and must not have been convicted of serious or life-threatening traffic violation in the last 12 months, and must not have been a repeat offender of traffic violations average.
What are the requirements to enroll in CNH Social?
To access the benefit, the person must be between 18 and 25 years old and currently enrolled or have completed three years of high school in a public or private school. In addition, it is necessary to be enrolled in the National Secondary Education Examination (Enem) or to have already taken this exam.
Vacancies will be distributed as follows: 1,500 in the Qualified Student category and 3,500 in the Qualified Citizen category. The Social Qualification Program will be divided into three phases: registration, selection and qualification procedure. After the registration deadline, public institutions that are partners of the program will have 60 days to publish in the Detran computerized system the names of those selected for the free card process.
