On May 4, President Jair Bolsonaro signed a decree that, according to the Government's own statements, will facilitate the insertion of at least 100,000 young apprentices into the labor market. According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the “National Project to Incentive the Hiring of Apprentices” contributes to improving the qualification and employability of young people.

What does the project say?
The decree that aims to create 100,000 new professional apprenticeships was signed by the president, in a ceremony held at the Planalto Palace last week. The document is part of the Income and Opportunity Program (PRO), which defines a series of measures launched by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security to contribute to the resumption of jobs and, consequently, the economy from the country.
The program aims to increase training opportunities, as well as the inclusion of young people in the job market, through professional learning. Vacancies will be created together with the companies participating in the project. These will obtain benefits to regularize the fulfillment of the learning quota.
Furthermore, measures were also established to promote the inclusion of vulnerable adolescents and young people in learning. In this case, priority will go to the public of Auxílio Brasil, as well as to adolescents in institutional care, to those from child labor, among others.
MP to promote women's employability
On the same day, the Provisional Measure was signed, establishing a program aimed at inserting and maintaining women in the labor market. The initiative creates some measures to promote good practices in hiring women.
In this regard, the program institutes the flexibility of the work regime, qualification in areas strategies for professional advancement and support in returning to work after the leave period maternity. The program focuses on the employability of women, especially those who are directly impacted by motherhood.
