The contract was signed by the most important names of the companies, such as the Managing Director, President and CEO of both companies, during the Paris Air Show 2023.

The airline has its headquarters in New Delhi and is rapidly growing across the world. Since acquiring its first aircraft from the A320 Family, the A320neo, in March 2016, it has never stopped increasing its portfolio, becoming one of the largest fleets of this model in the world, with 264 aircraft.
Its first order for Airbus was 100 A320 aircraft in 2005. Then it bought 180 more in 2011, including the neo. Then, in 2019, the order jumped to 300 aircraft. Now, its portfolio already has 1,300 aircraft to operate across the planet.
