4 shades you can use for your living room

If you're thinking about decorating your living room, there's nothing better than listening to the opinion of a color expert to create the best environment possible. Check below which are the ideal tones for each sensation.

Shades of yellow can improve mood

According to the expert, warm yellow tones, such as light golds, can create a cozy atmosphere in your living room. Using a softer shade of yellow gives the room a feeling of sunshine, warmth and spirit. Vivid, bright shades of yellow are discouraged as they can exacerbate tension and agitation. Wax suggests using blues, greens, and purples if you're looking for color combinations that go well with warm yellow tones.

Shades of gray and beige to be versatile

Known as greige, a color between gray and beige, it is a great choice for the living room due to its versatility. We have as an illustration the off-white, which is a basic, attractive and timeless color.

This softer color palette gives you the chance to create a brighter space with sociable and maybe even slightly playful accent colors. If you choose these colors, combine them with greens and brighter tones from the plum and teal families.

Earthy tones create a welcoming space

According to Wax, this is a great option for your living room due to its earthy and warm tone. Earth tones can be very cozy, but can be used with contrasting colors such as white, blue-green or even black.

Soft blue tones

Soft blues are universally appealing and have the lightness of a coastal color palette. According to Wax, muted blues can make a living room feel more open and, in turn, more relaxing.
