Plants that don't like rain
- boa constrictor
Boa constrictors are increasingly being requested to decorate indoor spaces since, in addition to being beautiful, they don't require much watering. That's because excess water can prevent your growth, and so rains are not ideal. Thus, the exact thing for this little plant is to do little watering, at most twice a week during the summer and only once a week during the winter.
- cacti
The constitution of the cactus allows it to withstand very high temperatures and very dry seasons, so it cannot be watered in excess. Not to mention that, due to the plant's property of making water reserves in its leaves, watering should be more spaced. Therefore, according to experts, cactus watering should happen at least every 15 days or when the soil is very dry.
- aloe vera
Aloe vera is very famous for all its medicinal attributes and its aesthetic benefits for the hair, face and skin in general. But did you know that aloe also requires little watering in cultivation and doesn't like rain very much? Yes! Aloe vera needs water practically when its substrate is getting dry, which in summer can take a week and in winter it can take longer.
- Sword of Saint George
Perfect for decorations and closely associated with luck and prosperity, the Sword of Saint George can perfectly be kept indoors, as it does not like rain. In this way, watering for São Jorge's sword is only recommended when the soil has been dry for a while.
- Elephant Paw
Finally, we have Elephant's Paw, a plant that has a stem similar to an elephant's paw and also doesn't like water at all. And, therefore, it is better to avoid leaving it in the rain and only water it when necessary, that is, when the soil is dry.
