Water Map
On March 22, World Water Day is celebrated, a date created by the UN to raise awareness of the correct use of water in the world. The arrival of the date always highlights the importance of talking about the economy of this resource.
Periodically, SISAGUA conducts a survey called the Water Map, which assesses the presence of substances harmful to health in the water of Brazilian cities.
There are rankings that assess water quality, namely: dark red (critical situation, with the presence of substances that cause cancer risk); red (severe situation, with substances that pose risks to health in general); blue (within the safety limit); and gray (when there is no data on city water).
You can see the water situation in your city by accessing the Water Map and check whether the water arriving at your home is contaminated or safe.
