- 2 white or purple sweet potatoes
- salt to taste
- 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Utensils:
- Do
- food slicer
- kitchen brush
- To harvest
- Spatula
- Bowl
- air fryer or oven
Method of preparation:
- Peel the potatoes and make them very thin with the help of a slicer (if you decide to use a knife, be careful that the slices do not get thick);
- Place the slices in a container and brush them with olive oil, then add the salt and mix well;
- Place the air fryer (or oven) to preheat to 160°C for 5 minutes;
- Arrange the potatoes without placing them on top of each other and leave for about 5 minutes. Then check if they are already well golden, this is the ideal point.
Some tips:
Do not add all the potatoes at once, as this could compromise the crispiness of the chips. So do the process step by step.
Use spices to improve the flavor even more: to spice up your chips, add smoked paprika, oregano, nutmeg, black pepper or any other ingredient of your choice.
Chips go well with spreads and pâtés, so they can be eaten with chickpea paste, vegetables like carrots and eggplant, ricotta pâté and olives.
