Guides and shortcuts on PC can make your life easier

This tip is, without a doubt, a more functional one that you can add to your routine. Yes, as much as the famous Ctrl+Z that helps you undo a mistake. This shortcut makes it possible to return and restore carelessly closed pages. In this sense, here we point out four ways to reopen closed tabs in Google Chrome.

Remembering that these are not options for tabs in the incognito browser!

keyboard shortcut

You can quickly restore your tabs using Ctrl+Shift+T (for Mac devices, Cmd+Shift+T). If it has been closed for some time, you can continue pressing the shortcut until you reach the expected tab. If you have closed all the windows, you only need to open a new one to use the keys and review the others.

This can happen mainly due to an unexpected system update that forces you to shut down everything.

browser history

If you prefer, you can review closed tabs through your browser's history. To do this, you will need more steps than using the shortcut, but it will be just as effective. To get to Chrome's history, in addition to the traditional way in the upper right corner, there are two other possibilities. One by using another shortcut (Ctrl+H) and typing “chrome://history” in your address bar before hitting enter.

guide search

Just below the icon tab bar for minimizing, maximizing, and closing the window is a search feature. You can also access it via the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+A. In this option, you will have access to the list of recently closed tabs.

taskbar

By right-clicking the mouse on the taskbar, you will have access to a small list of links. Among them are the most visited and those that have been closed. For Mac users, these options do not appear.
