Artificial Intelligence Chatbots can do some really amazing things, and one of those latest skills revealed was interviewing.

Recently, Microsoft founder Bill Gates teamed up with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for an interview with questions generated by an Artificial Intelligence chatbot.

Video of the interview was posted on YouTube, and the questions were read by the Prime Minister and answered by Bill Gates. One of the most interesting questions asked was the one where the Chatbot asked Bill Gates what he would say to his younger self if given the opportunity.

Bill Gates' response to the question

The founder of Microsoft begins his speech by quoting how intense and focused on his work was youth, he even states that at that time he did not even believe in weekends or vacation.

All of Gates' dedication made Microsoft the giant it is today, accumulating an equity of US$105.2 billion, but all of his intensity made him a leader inappropriate, with a restricted view on how to work and talk, and, therefore, ended up dismissing many people who could help him, but did not fit into the atmosphere.

Bill Gates claims that he would tell his past self to read a lot and explore the world like a traveller. He recalls his introversion in his youth and how he called himself “socially inept”.

Gates acquired a bad reputation as a boss

Due to his intensity, Gates ended up being considered a difficult boss to deal with and he claims that all his demands were a reflection of the high standards he imposed, including for himself.

He says that as time went on and Microsoft grew, he had to learn to relax a little more.

“For Microsoft's small initial group, that's fine,” Gates said. “But as we grew, I had to realize that, OK, when you bring in sales teams, when you bring in people with families, you have to think about this. It's a very long-term thing.”

He then concludes the answer by stating that, if he could, he would try to make him realize this a little sooner.
