Step by step to prepare pepper jelly

With an easy degree of difficulty, the pepper jelly recipe is very practical to execute. In addition, the total preparation time is short, only 30 minutes.

Although the recipe in this article makes 12 servings of jam, if you prefer to make a smaller amount, just reduce the ingredients proportionately. Keep track of the necessary items and preparation method below.

Ingredients

  • 4 peppers, seedless and chopped into very small pieces;
  • 1 apple without peel and without grated seed;
  • 1 lemon juice;
  • 1 cup of sugar tea;
  • ½ cup of water tea;
  • 1 garlic cloves;
  • 1 piece of cinnamon stick;
  • Salt to taste.

Method of preparation

First take a pan, put all the ingredients for the pepper jelly and mix a lot. Then bring to a low boil until the mixture starts to boil and cook, which may take approximately 10 minutes.

To check if the jam has reached the point, scoop up some of the mixture with a spoon and place it on a cool, smooth surface. So, if that portion of the jelly hardens, it's because the consistency is past the point. In this case, just add a little water and keep stirring.

However, if the jelly is still runny, let it cook for a few more minutes. Finally, when you notice that the texture is adequate, turn off the heat, remove the garlic and cinnamon, transfer the jelly to glass jars and serve.
