How was it discovered?

According to the experts, the organ was located with the help of an exam: a computed tomography. After the discovery, the exam was carried out other times to confirm the discovery of the organ.

About 100 patients and cadavers were analyzed. In this way, it was possible to identify that certain areas continued to glow, which helped to reveal this hitherto unknown part of the human body.
