Understand how the coin hoard was found

On the local news, Reyes said he noticed the opening in the wall of his father-in-law's house and decided to check it out. When he investigated the space, he found many bags and boxes with old penny coins.

So the family decided to weigh the bags to account for the values. As there were too many, they were unable to finalize the count. However, the family believes they found at least a million coins on the basement wall.

The coins had been hidden for decades and are examples of different banks at the time.

Reyes, who works as a real estate agent, was impressed to find that his father-in-law started saving coins during the period in which the United States exchanged copper coins for zinc ones during The Second World War.

At first, the explanation is that Reyes' father-in-law was saving the coins to cash in on the metal's value in the future. The total value of the coins could be worth a lot of money, but the amount is still under review.

The family's first idea was to take the coins to the bank, however, they were informed that the local bank would not be able to store so many coins.

At the moment, the family is not sure what they will do with all the coins, but part of the treasure is already being marketed on a website much visited by curious and collectors for the value of US$ 25,000.

For now, the family is only demanding that the buyer be responsible for picking up and transporting the coins.
