The pharmaceutical company Moderna, which became known worldwide for the production of the vaccine against Covid-19, has just publicly announce that vaccines for the treatment of cancer and other serious diseases will be available from 2030.

If the information is really true, in seven years the world will have access to the first doses of these long-awaited immunizers.

The director of Moderna, Paul Burton, revealed to The Guardian newspaper that this is the company's prediction, although the results may appear earlier.

Will the vaccine really work?

Moderna will probably use messenger RNA technology in the production of new vaccines against cancer. In this method, the vaccine “teaches” the immune system how to deal with the disease.

In another part of his talk on the subject, Paul Burton was quite ambitious, stating that Moderna must make preventive “antidotes” available for all types of cancer within five years.

“They [the vaccines] will be highly effective and will save hundreds of thousands if not millions of lives. I believe we will be able to offer personalized vaccines against many different types of tumors to people around the world”, predicted the executive.
