IPVA 2023: who should pay the tax from the 16th in SP?

Last Wednesday, January 11th, in São Paulo, some owners began paying the Tax on Motor Vehicle Ownership (IPVA), either with the discharge of the first installment, in the case of drivers who chose to divide the amount, or those who paid in a single installment, receiving a 3% discount on the total amount of the tax.

Thus, according to the table, owners of vehicles with the final license plate between 1 and 3 must have already paid the first installment or the full amount with the previously mentioned discount. For owners of vehicles with license plate 4 in São Paulo, payment must be made this Monday, the 16th.
