Prouni waiting list released by MEC

It was released this Monday (10) in the environment of the pronounce at the Single Access portal the result of candidates who expressed interest in applying for a scholarship from the University for All Program (Prouni) through the waiting list. Applicants can check to see if they have been shortlisted for the program by April 19th.

Between the 10th and the 19th of April, those pre-selected by the Prouni waiting list must prove the registration information directly at the institution for which they applied. The first edition of Prouni 2023 broke a record, offering more than 290,000 scholarships.

The University for All Program (Prouni) was created in 2004 as a public policy of the Ministry of Education, with the aim of offer full and partial scholarships in undergraduate and sequential specific training courses in higher education institutions private.

Prouni's selection process is held twice a year and its target audience is individuals who do not yet have a university degree.

How to apply?

To apply, it is required that the candidate has taken one of the last two editions of the Enem, held before of the selection process, and who has reached an average of at least 450 points in the grades of the five tests of the exam.

Additionally, it is necessary that the student has not received a zero score in the Enem writing test and has not taken the exam as a trainee.

Who can participate?

To obtain the full Prouni scholarship, which covers the entire course fee, the pre-selected candidate must prove a gross monthly family income, per person, of up to 1.5 salary Minimum.

As for the partial scholarship, which covers 50% of the monthly fee, the monthly per capita income required is up to 3 minimum wages.

In order to be eligible for Prouni, it is necessary that the candidate has met at least one of the following conditions:

  • Completed high school in a public school;
  • Having completed high school in a private institution as a full scholarship holder of the respective institution;
  • Having attended high school partially in a public school and partially in a private institution as a full or partial scholarship holder of the respective institution;
  • Having attended high school entirely at a private institution as a partial scholarship holder or without scholarship status;
  • Be a person with a disability, as provided by law;
  • Being a teacher in the public school system, exclusively for teaching and pedagogy courses, aimed at training teachers in basic education.

In the latter case, no income limit is required.
