How did the problems start to appear?
According to the monitoring service carried out by Downdetector, the problem on the social network started around 10 am on October 31st. An hour later, more than 1,500 notifications about the problems had already been registered.
“My two accounts, personal and of work, they were disabled now in 31/10/2022. Unable to recover. It just keeps loading onepage black,” said a user in one of Downdetector’s logs.
Within hours, the subject was one of the most searched on Google, according to Google Trends data. Searches like “Instagram account suspended” and “instability at the Instagram today” were on a constant rise.
