On December 15, the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) had released a list of health plans that would be suspended due to customer dissatisfaction with coverage assistance. This suspension is derived from the Service Guarantee Monitoring, which seeks to continuously monitor the sector's performance, as well as protect consumers.

Therefore, the announced suspension came into effect last Thursday, December 22. The measure protected 387,894 consumers, as suspended plans will only be able to return to the market if suppliers comply with the measures requested by the ANS.
Monitoring takes place on a quarterly basis. On that occasion, in addition to the suspensions, ANS released 46 plans from 11 operators for sale. Check out more details on the links below:
