3 delicious recipes to make with Whey

1. whey pancake

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of Whey Protein (the recipe will be vanilla flavored, but you can use whatever you have in your house);
  • 1/2 cup oat flour;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder;
  • 1/2 cup skimmed milk;
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

How to make:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until you have a homogeneous mass. In an antiadherent skillet, put some of the dough and cook until golden and starting to release. Then turn and cook on the same side.

Do this until the dough runs out. You can serve it with fruits, honey or eat it without anything!

2. whey muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of Whey Protein (the chocolate one is sensational, but you can use whatever you have at home);
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour;
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar;
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1/2 cup skimmed milk;
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil;

How to make:

Preheat the oven to 180ºC. While it heats up, mix all the ingredients until you have a homogeneous mass. Put the result in greased molds and take them to the oven for approximately 20 minutes – but you can remove them earlier if they bake before the indicated time.

And ready! Easy, isn't it?

3. whey smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup whey of any flavor;
  • 1 frozen banana;
  • 1 cup of any frozen fruit;
  • 1 cup of milk (vegetable or cow);
  • 1 spoon of honey (optional)

How to make:

Beat all the ingredients in the blender until you crush all the fruits and get a homogeneous mixture. Then just drink.
