The most famous soft drink on the planet is Coca-Cola, without a doubt. No wonder, the drink's original formula is still under lock and key.

However, what few people know is that throughout its history, Coke has had several flavors and variations, some that worked and others not so much.

Some Coca-Cola flavors have not even been released in Brazil and may sound very strange to local consumers.

Check below which versions were released in other countries around the world.

1 – Raspberry

There is raspberry-flavored Coca-Cola outside Brazil, sold as Coke Freestyle, which can be found in many different flavors.

The formula was a big hit in 2005 in New Zealand. The release was limited, but left many fans homesick.

2 – Green tea

The Japanese were able to experience this strange combination of Coke and green tea in 2009. The objective was to completely change the soda and leave aside the dark color and gas.

In addition, the formula appeared to be more nutritious. Despite the marketing effort, the change was unsuccessful.

3 – Orange

It's not about Fanta, Coca-Cola also tasted orange in the United States.

The brand says that the novelty was positive in 2009. But the product has not returned to the market shelves until today.

4 – Vanilla and cherry

In the USA, the version with vanilla and cherry was one of the attempts to innovate that the company decided to risk.

However, it seems that the novelty did not like that much with the public.

5 – Black version

In Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Slovakia and Spain, consumers were able to try the black version.

It is blacker than normal and still has the essence of coffee.

6 – Ginger

In Australia and New Zealand, the ginger version was released in the summer of 2016. The proposal was to be more refreshing and spicy, and it was not that successful.
