In an Instagram post, Ye, Kanye West's stage name, questioned whether he was the only one who thought Elon Musk might be half Chinese. Such questioning arose because of the businessman's appearance when he was just a child and asked his followers in the same post, Ye also mentioned former US President Barack Obama and took the opportunity to run his own political campaign to president.
After this post, a user took the post to twitter, in which another user responded with a photo of the small businessman, which he believed was what the singer was referring to. Some people agreed with the singer and others believed he was wrong, that little Elon didn't have Asian traits and questioned what was the importance of that.

Sources reported that Elon was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa, to mother Canadian Maye Musk, model and nutritionist and Errol Musk, co-owner of a diamond mine in Zambia.
Despite mixed opinions stating that he is, Elon Musk tweeted that he has no Chinese heritage, but took Ye's post as high praise. However, it was not clear why the singer brought up the question about Elon's ancestry, would it be a new way of doing political campaign?
