Internet Brazil Program aims to provide more access to knowledge
The benefits of the internet in student education are proven, as it is responsible for bringing experiences both from knowledge, as well as living in society, often through social networks, where they can interact with other people In real time.
Also linked to the project is the provision of broadband resources for family members, as those responsible can have direct communication with teachers and other school employees, shortening the relationship between parents and professionals.
Thus, students will also be able to use the broadband service outside the school, since learning can be done both inside and outside the school environment.
According to the government, the Internet Brazil Program will be implemented gradually, with the Northeast Connected Project as its first phase, serving elementary and high school students from public schools in the municipalities of Campina Grande, Juazeiro, Mossoró, Petrolina and Caruaru.
How will the chips be distributed?
The distribution will take place from the data of the families registered in the Cadastro Único, and it is not necessary to provide the data again to the government portal.
Internet access will ensure that children and adolescents can have a higher quality education. Thus, they can get to know more adequately the most varied subjects, which can often complement learning or even provide different teachings on the numerous matters.
The Federal Government hopes that this first phase of distribution is just the beginning of the project, aiming to expand to several other regions of Brazil, in order to bring quality internet to students and families.
This is a huge step towards advancing digital inclusion in Brazil, adding broad knowledge to students and directly helping to communication between parents and education professionals, since the shortening of the distance between them contributes to the performance of students in the school environment.
Thus, it becomes possible to monitor and exchange experiences and information about behavior and development.
