Aimed at professionals in the education and health sectors, but also open to students and the community in general, it started yesterday (12) and ends this Thursday (13th) the 6th Seminar on Special Education, promoted by the Secretary of Education of Joinville (SC), at the Convention Center of Univille.
In this year's edition, the main theme of the event is "Current challenges of Inclusive Education: knowledge, equity, sensitivity and quality in school environment”, with the participation of professionals from the municipal education network, from schools with bilingual classes, in addition to representatives from other counties.

The challenge of ensuring that all students with disabilities have the opportunity to reach their full potential is highlighted by Joinville’s Secretary of Education, Diego Calegari: “As educators, we need to have a sensitive look at students so that, from our work, we can meet and enhance the learning of each of these students”.
During the opening of the event, this Wednesday (12), in addition to the interpretation of the National Anthem by a student from the state education network, there was a performance of a dance show, by students of the Association of Parents and Friends of the Disabled (APAE), applauded standing by the public gift.
Soon after, psychologist Ana Carolina Wolf Motta gave the first lecture of the event, which associates autism with education, from the perspective of neurodiversity. In addition to this, during the two days of the seminar, six other lectures will be given. One of the highlights is the participation of José Raimundo Facion – a professional considered a reference in research and study on autism – which will address the theme “School inclusion and its implications”, lecture to be held at 4 pm today (13).
