Students pre-selected in the single Fies call have until 11:59 pm on July 14th, next Friday, to carry out this important procedure through the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education, on the tab directed to Fies.

Medicine: Fies increases ceiling and reaches R$ 60 thousand per semester
After completing the application, applicants must validate the information that was declared during the application process.
This validation process must be carried out within a period of up to five working days after the registration completion date.
To validate the information, students must contact directly the higher education institution for which they were shortlisted.
Fies offers a valuable opportunity for financial support for those wishing to pursue their studies in higher education.
Therefore, it is important that the pre-selected candidates are aware of the necessary steps and carry out all actions within the established deadlines.
Candidates who were not pre-selected in the single call for the Fies selection process will be automatically placed on the waiting list.
This waiting list is created to fill vacancies that, eventually, were not occupied during the single call.
The ranking order of candidates on the waiting list follows what is provided for in Notice nº 8/2023, which covers the schedule and other procedures of Fies 2023/2.
The pre-selection of candidates who are on the Fies waiting list will take place between July 18th and August 29th, through the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education.
During this period, candidates will be able to follow updates and possible pre-selections through this virtual platform.
