During the early morning hours of July 2, the hotel's front desk staff received a call disturbing indicating that Mr. Ura had left the room before him, leaving him alone. It is still unclear who the person who made the call was.
The next day, a gruesome discovery was made in the
bathroomfrom room. The naked and decapitated body of Mr. Ura was found. According to the medical reports, the cause of death was hemorrhagic shock caused by a stab wound. Upon the discovery of Ura's decapitated body, police located the car he had driven from his residence at a toll lot in Sapporo. The presence of the vehicle at that location indicates a possible link between Ura and the motel where the incident took place.
