Recover a plant that is waterlogged

  • 1st step: the first step in saving a dying plant is to prune the dry and damaged branches. Carefully remove all parts of the species that are lifeless, helping to encourage healthy growth;
  • 2nd step: then remove the plant from its current pot to assess its roots. Check for rotten or decaying roots and carefully remove them;
  • 3rd step: transfer to a clean container with a suitable mixture of fresh, nutritious soil. Make sure the new sump has drainage holes, preventing the buildup of water too much;
  • 4th step: when watering, use warm water to encourage root growth. However, it is essential to ensure that the soil is well drained, in order to prevent the soil from decomposing;
  • 5th step: replant in a pot or in the garden, carefully covering the roots with ground fresh. Gently press around the plant to ensure good fixation, remembering to water without exaggeration, using a meter.

Save your plant with dry leaves

  • 1st step: first, ensure that it is not exposed to extreme humidity or strong sunlight. Transfer the plant to a suitable place, with adequate levels of luminosity, that is, characterized by shade;
  • 2nd step: when examining the roots of the plant, if you find darkened or rotten fragments, it is important to prune them. Only a healthy root has the conditions to maintain a strong and well-developed species;
  • 3rd step: if there are signs of a fungal infection, apply a suitable fungicide to the infested areas. Follow product instructions to ensure correct and effective application, ensuring the end of pests and fungi;
  • 4th step: carry out the cultivation again using a fertilized soil. As with the instructions in the previous tip, choose a container with good drainage;
  • 5th step: after replanting, fertilize the plant with a suitable fertilizer. Avoid overwatering by allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.
